Key responsibilities

- Responsible of overall control tower to ensure smooth end to end operations
- Maintain and improve customer relationship and satisfaction with regular engagements and communication.
- Implementation of Standard process and system ensuring SOP/IOP are maintained and reviewed regularly.
- Proactive inter-departmental coordination to ensure smooth, efficient operations and high service delivery levels
- Analyze data and use reports to proactively resolve challenges.
- Manage performance of operational activities within the team.
- Coach, motivate and build a high performing team. Lead by example, inspire and energize their team; Support on-boarding new members; Set clear objectives and guide team to achieve targets and performance standards; Attract, Develop and retain talent
- Ensure team KPI’s are fulfilled against targets and performance metrics assigned
- Engage in process improvement to enhance all stakeholder experience
- Support with maintaining and growing the current business portfolio

- Minimum 8 years of experience in Freight forwarding/Shipping/OCE operations.

  • Greet customers, offer assistance and serve them in order to ensure their needs are answered in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards
  • Arrange and replenish on a continuous basis the shop shelves and ensure that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean and tidy at all times in alignment with the brand's image and coordination standards

About the position:

 

  • Achieve monthly unit sale targets by taking the customer on a structured “one offer” journey
  • Maximize retained gross margins on unit sales to maintain branch profitability
  • Achieve monthly product sales targets
  • Promote effective referrals to Showroom Managers to ensure 100% second facing for enhancing revenue and Net Promoter Score opportunities

What you will be doing

Our Executive Assistant is responsible for high-level administrative support, conducting research, preparing statistical reports and presentations, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings.

  • Manage the Manager's diary and appointments
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when required
  • Review selected documents that come to the Office of the Manager and make recommendations for action
  • Liaise with relevant individuals, departments, and external customers and suppliers on Manager’s behalf and ensure smooth and efficient communication flow
  • Assist in presentations and other reports and documents as needed
  • Manage in coordination with travel department travel plans, itineraries, expenses and travel-related documents
  • Assist in planning and organising visits of selected visitors
  • Create and maintain database and spreadsheet files
  • Follow-up on progress of directives and projects managed by the Manager

What you'll need to succeed 

  •  University Degree in Business Administration.
  • 3 -5 years of relevant experience as an Executive Assistant/Secretory for C Level
  • Conversant with computer skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be detail-minded, initiative, well-organized with good communication skills.
